'The best part of my job is helping people.'  Matthew is an incredibly skilled technician.  His ability to assist our Optometry staff and patients is very valuable to our office.  Matthew has over 27 years of experience assisting Optometrists, working in Optical and Office Management. 

'I want to put the patient at ease and help them to navigate the check in/out process seemlessly.' Amber is a skilled office technician with over 12 years of experience in the Optical industry.  Amber has a vast knowledge about insurance and the complexities of follow up care for our medical patients.  

Lori has been in the optical industry for over ten years. She enjoys most working with patients and getting to know them so she can exceed their expectations. Her favorite part of her job is styling the patient in the perfect frame that looks great but also fits, then taking the time to discuss the lens that works best for their visual needs. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, going to concerts, walks along the river, and exploring the local environment with her husband, three children, and new granddaughter.

Michael has 3 years of experience working in the Ophthalmology/Optometry field. In his spare time, he loves playing basketball, traveling and exploring Idaho.

She has experience in many areas of the office; from insurance to scheduling to being a technician and an optician.Tamra was born and raised in the Treasure Valley. She enjoys spending time with her family and loves animals and flowers!

I am new to the optometry world, but very much enjoying learning a lot about it! I love talking with patients and it’s my goal to give them the best experience when they first walk in the door before they go back to see the doctor. During the time that I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my horse, road trips with friends, hiking and concerts

I am a recent college graduate from the University of Utah with a degree in Health, Society, and Policy. I have a strong passion for working and supporting underserved populations. Currently, I am working on publications involving heart attacks and dental anxiety of underserved and uninsured patients at Free Clinics. I am also currently taking a gap year in order to study for the MCAT before applying to medical school! I have almost a year of experience in the optometry field. I love engaging with patients and making sure they feel comfortable and well taken care of before their appointment with the doctor. The world of optometry is fascinating and I am learning so much every single day! During the time I am not working, I enjoy skiing, hiking, swimming and making pottery.

Hi my name is Nancy and I am one of the opticians at McNeel Eye Center! My experience in the field of optometry first started as a Technician 2 years ago! I loved being able to understand and learn more about the behind the scenes of an eye exam. I am fairly new to being an optician, but I am finding it rewarding to be able to help patients find their style and express their individuality through eyewear. Each person has their unique personality and preferences, so I enjoy the challenge of guiding them to options that will not only help their vision but also complement their personality. Outside of work I like exploring nature, hanging out with friends and family and being active.
